Crackpot Love

"I don't understand why you are too possessive."

"You never understood my love."

"You always had a doubt on me."

"You did not give a chance to trust you."

"I'm done; I can't be with you anymore"

"Okay", in an angry disappointing tone she cut his phone and started smashing things. After her anger faded away, she sat in a corner and began to cry.

She had never thought about their break up. Lots of love, care, the trust had all gone in vain. At once she felt as if there was no reason for her to live. She cried and cried all night. What else she could do? After all, she was a completely broken lady at the instance.

The next day, her ex-boyfriend, Salin went to meet a girl at the café, the girl, for whom he left Tripti. With a sip of coffee, he said, "Alisha, I'd a break up with Tripti, I hope you are okay with me now."

"Don't worry. She was not a perfect girl for you. I love you a lot!"

"So do I. Ok, I'll leave now. I've to go for photography. See you later."

Tripti was a model. Salin was a photographer. They worked together in a fashion show. Tripti was a rich, gorgeous and hardworking model. Salin was the best photographer over that time. He was not much rich but his photography was impressive. Salin was drifted away by the charming beauty of Tripti.  He started caring for her behind the scenes too. They fell in love with each other. Tripti's mom and dad had died in a car accident. She shattered apart after the heavy loss. Being a single daughter of her rich dad, all responsibility had been on her head. But she could not give up on her dreams. She had no choice rather than to be strong and move on. She managed everything very well, little by little. Later, she thought of starting a modeling career which pushed her towards  Salin. After Salin came to her life, she thought her emptiness will move away. 

It happened the same. Salin cared for her much. All was going okay.

They used to spend quality time during their holidays.

Once, Salin gifted her a ring, the ring which she loved very much. She thought it to be one of the precious gifts and always wore on her ring finger that could remind of Salin each and every second. She was very happy to be with him.

Everything was on the right track. 

In later days, Salin got the contract of photography for a photoshoot in a renowned company. Since the company was in the next city, far from its original one Tripti was not happy with the contract. But Salin convinced her, telling that he will be back soon.

Salin shifted to the next city. He got involved in his work. Being much busier, he started forgetting to call Tripti. It was Tripti, always, who used to call and text Salin. 

Gradually, in later days,  Tripti's behavior created annoyance on Salin. He started ignoring her slowly. He once had a fight on the phone with Tripti. He screamed too loudly that Tripti couldn't utter a word even. 

"What happened Salin?" a sweet voice from the backside touched his ear.
He turned and found a beautiful girl asking him. The girl was a model where he was working now. 
"Nothing, Alisha" 
"She was the one for the reason for this anger, right?"
"It's not like that"
"Oh! C'mn tell me"
"Leave me alone", he replied very rudely.

Later, after reaching the apartment Salin felt sorry for his behavior. He called Alisha. But she did not pick up his call. The next day, at photoshoot he tried to talk with her. Alisha ignored him several times. But he did not give up. He convinced her. Alisha agreed for a condition if in case Salin shares all of the matters.

Salin laughed and agreed. They went to a restaurant for lunch.

Salin explained about Tripti to Alisha. 

He explained, "She unnecessarily worries for me. It bothers me. I cannot even focus on my work properly. The director has caught me many times on the phone. He even gave me the warning to take some action against me if I continue to be careless. Yes! I know I'm not concentrating on my work these days. And this is all because of Tripti. She has been a headache for me."

" Just chill, I'm with you. I'll support you in your every situation"
"Alisha, I do not know, why, but every time when you are around me, I feel I'm complete. I really enjoy your company."
"Then won't you like to make this company into a relationship?"
"Haha...you are proposing me?, Oh wow..a model likes me,, I must be lucky"
" I'm not joking idiot"
"Sorry, sorry.. Let's leave, Director will kill me else."
" Think about what I said."
"But Tripti...?"
" Break up with her.."
"hmm.... "
They go at the set.

Days passed..
Tripti was disappointed with Salin's behavior.
She cried many times on his memory looking at their photographs.

On the next side, Salin and Alisha were having a good time with each other. Every minute when they get free from work, they spend time and enjoy. Alisha was convincing him time to time to have a break up with Tripti.

"Why you worry much about her? She is rich, charming and gorgeous. She will find someone again."
"Oh please, do not say anything about her?"
" You are being rude for that orphan?" said Alisha angrily.
"Who said you she is an orphan, I do not remember if I had said this?"
"Oh love, else how would I know?, You must have forgotten. You do not remember anything these days. Tomorrow is my birthday. You have forgotten this too" said Alisha in a sarcastic way.
"Sorry sorry sorry,, but it has not been late okay"
"See,, I knew, you'd not remembered"
"Sorry, baba...will talk you till twelve and wish you first." 
"You are telling just to convince me.."
"I'll prove, you will see"

They laughed and shared their love.

Salin and Alisha were on a romantic text at night. Suddenly Salin's phone rings.

"What is this Salin?"

"What?"

"Is there anyone else in your life?"

Her eyes stopped at the ring finger. She did not want the ring anymore. The precious ring was of zero value now. All she wanted was to return that ring and clear her doubt about their affair.

She left for the current workplace of Salin at early morning. She thought of going to the company where Salin had told before leaving her.

"Salin you were a little bit upset last night. You even did not wish me properly."

With a sip of coffee, he said, "Alisha, I'd a break up with Tripti, I hope you are okay with me now."

"Don't worry. She was not a perfect girl for you. I love you a lot!"

"So do I. Ok, I'll go now. I've to go for photography. See you later. I'll ask a leave with the boss too."

"Okay"

"And sweetest birthday my love. Will give you a surprise in the evening. Come at  Hotel Crimson on time, yeah?"

"I'll also surprise you"

"Hmm…save some for my birthday too."

They laughed and separated.

Salin went to his work and impressed everyone with his photography. The director was very happy with his work.

"Salin you are outstanding when you are focused"; said the director in a voice of appreciation.
"Thank you sir"

"Where is Alisha, these days? I've not seen her after the last photoshoot."

"She was lil' bit ill, but will join us soon."

"Ah okay"

"Sir there's something, I wanna ask….., May I?"

"Yes, yes….Why not?”

"Sir today is Alisha's birthday and I'm planning to give her a lil' surprise at Hotel Crimson. I want to leave, if you permit…?

"Hmm…ok ok..go,, God bless you both"

After taking the permission, Salin left.

Tripti reached Salin's company after 12 hours of long drive. She was well honored at there. Everybody there, were overwhelmed by the charming beauty of Tripti. She inquired about Salin and her doubt was cleared.  She knew the truth. Salin was in an affair with another lady. All she wanted now, was to return that ring.  She got the information that Salin was on leave to celebrate his new girlfriend's birthday on Hotel Crimson. She left for the hotel.

Alisha was well prepared today. Well, it was her birthday and her boyfriend is giving her a surprise. She reached the Hotel Crimson and met Salin. Salin took her in the room.

The room was decorated well. Balloons, flowers, lights, lamps were perfectly arranged. A small love shaped birthday cake was caft with "Happy birthday sweet love." Small music was being played on.

"I love you Alisha" said Salin very sweetly. Let's cut the cake."

"Okay but close your eyes, I also want to surprise you"

"Oh, today not dear! Why don't you surprise me on my birthday?"

"I can't wait till your birthday"

"Ok darling…."

**sound of the knife stab occurs**

"Aaaahhhh…" screamed Salin in a painful way.

"Alisha…why?"

"You want to know why? Listen. I love Tripti?"

"Tripti? what you….are saying? You loved a girl?" he breaths very hard.

"Yes, salin yes! I love girls, and she is Tripti. She was the love of my life. I love her since my teenage. But what did you do? You took her away from me?  I was about to express my feeling for her, but suddenly her mom and dad passed away in an accident. She couldn't handle this grief and went far away; that much away from me, where I couldn't find. Later I saw her in a fashion show. When I inquired about her I knew, you, a poor photographer was having a dream of her. From that day, I'm planning to kill you. What have you thought. This company gave you the contract so easily? No, Salin No! It was I, Alisha, who persuaded the director just to bring you here or let's say a part of my plan to kill you. Now, Tripti is only mi………. Aaaaaaaaaaaaahhh"""

Tripti hit her head with a rod from the backside.

Salin was half conscious. He was blanked by Alisha's word. Tripti was also shocked to know that Alisha, her college friend was a lesbian. The love she used to give her was not a normal one but was for some purpose. She immediately called the hotel manager. He managed to call an ambulance for Alisha and Salin.

Salin went under treatment. Alisha had a serious injury on her head and she died due to internal bleeding.

Cases were filed. Lawyer saved Tripti explaining, the case as an accident in self-defense.

After solving the matter of court, Tripti went to the hospital. Salin was lying on the bed. Tears rolled down from his eyes.

"Tripti, You were right. I could never understand your love. If possible, forgive me."

Her heart melted at once. She also couldn't stop crying. She had truly loved Salin from all her heart. She hugged him with a sweet forgiveness.

And they started living happily thereafter.
